On the auspicious occasion of Lohri, the Sachkhand Foundation organized an event to spread unity and colors of love among the people. The event was held on 13th January, 2023 at 3 different branches of Pacific malls in Delhi – Dwarka, Tagore Garden and Netaji Subhash Place. Turbans were tied to everyone present there, including the staff members, women and kids. This event was supported by the volunteers of Khalsa Aid, who helped in tying the turbans.
The event started with the tying of turbans on people, which was done with great enthusiasm and passion by the volunteers of Khalsa Aid and Sachkhand Foundation. The colourful turbans added a sense of unity and togetherness to the event, and people from all walks of life participated in the event. The volunteers of Sachkhand Foundation and Khalsa Aid worked tirelessly to tie turbans on as many people as possible, spreading the message of love and unity. Apart from the turbans, several performances were also held, including bhangra and gidda. The performances were enjoyed by everyone present, and they added to the festive atmosphere of the event. The participants were seen dancing and enjoying the performances with great enthusiasm. Furthermore, several foreigners were also seen keen enough to learn about this tradition and the organisation. The zeal amongst the audience was extremely overwhelming as the response was more than expected. The organizers of the event made sure that everyone present was well taken care of and provided the volunteers, who had worked tirelessly to make this event a success, with the refreshments.
Overall, the whole event organized by The Sachkhand Foundation was a huge success and all the team members of SKF felt elated as the Punjabi fever took over the vibe of the malls.
