How Sachkhand Foundation followed the motto of Sarbat Da Bhalla in Covid 19

OUR AIM

Sachkhand Foundation works constantly with the motto of “Sarbat Da Bhalla” which means “welfare of all”. Even when the world was hit hard by Covid-19, our organization didn’t take a backseat but was confronted with the harsh situations and continued to serve and help people.

EFFORTS DURING COVID-19

In these hard times, when it was becoming difficult to arrange food for Covid patients, we came forward and provided them hygienic meals of lunch and dinner, free of cost, at their doorstep across Delhi. With all precautions and measures, we worked relentlessly to supply basic meals of the day to the maximum number of patients across Delhi.

We also provided free ration kits across Delhi that included all the necessary items used in day-to-day life.

At the time, when everyone was anxious and wrapped in a pall of gloom all around, we initiated Meditation and Happiness Session daily, free of cost, 20 minutes session each from 8 A.M. and 9 P.M.

The main aim of this session was to help people to stay positive and maintain good mental health during such traumatic times. It was much needed as there was a dire need for people to remain calm, positive, and not panic.

We also initiated free telephonic doctor consultations for critical and home isolation patients. It was held on an appointment basis.

The second wave of Covid-19 was very catastrophic and crucial. Everyone’s brain was filled with such deep doom and gloom that they couldn’t do anything but stress out. There was a dearth of oxygen cylinders and kits, lack of hospital beds for covid patients leading to continuing deaths.

In such times, when people feared to step out of their house, we came forward to arrange oxygen cylinders and kits for critical covid patients. We served 24*7 to provide people with oxygen cylinders and refilling all over Delhi.

We also started delivering Amrit Jal and Kadha Prashad of Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and gurudwara Nanak Piao at doorsteps across Delhi in a hope of speedy recovery of all the patients.

We were able to do all this because of constant support from all our volunteers who came forward to help and save the lives of people in such tough situations. We spare no effort when it comes to helping people as we did in pandemic and we will continue to work tirelessly and will leave no stone unturned for the betterment of people and society
